Business Development/Sales Representative

Utah Disaster Kleenup (UDK) is a provider of property restoration and disaster cleanup services.  These services are provided to homeowners and business owners who have experienced a property loss such as fire, flooding, or and environmental issue like mold or asbestos.  We have been providing these services since 1974 with offices in Draper, Layton, Park City, St George and Nampa, ID. 

We have an immediate opening for a Business Development Representative to grow our referral channels in the Davis and Weber county areas.  The role of the business development representative is to interact with potential clients to develop relationships, build trust and generate phone calls for property restoration and mitigation services.  The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has connections in insurance, property management or other B2B groups associated with property restoration, has experience in sales and overall, someone who thrives in social engagement and relationship development.  This is a full-time salary position of 40-50 hours a week. 


  • Promote the company to new and existing customers through:
  • Networking, events, cold calls and broadening existing company relationships 
  • Follow-through with current clients to ensure job satisfaction and repeat business
  • Utilize the company CRM to log customer activity, expenses, contact information and ROI
  • Develop new verticals of business for the company

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Previous B2B sales/marketing experience
  • Professional relationship and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Exceptional task and time management skills
  • Self discipline and self driven mentality
  • Basic skills in Microsoft suite, and ability to easily pick up desktop and web-based programs that the company uses for job/account management
  • Confident and professional Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time for tradeshow events
  • Must be able to assemble tradeshow and event displays which require some lifting outdoor tents and displays (up to 80 lbs)
  • Must be comfortable doing an extensive amount of driving, including inclement weather conditions at times. 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • This position requires the use of a newer personal vehicle

As a business development representative, you will have the unique opportunity to build our company’s brand and customer loyalty.  Your skill-set will be heavily utilized to expand business operations and recognize and realize potential partners. 


  • Annual base of $60,000 + Commission on revenue generated from new accounts.
