UDK (Utah Disaster Kleenup) is hiring part time (nights and weekends) flood technicians to be on-call and respond to emergency disaster cleanup projects.
 
What are the hours and days/month?
Each month, part-time Disaster Kleenup technicians calendar 4-10 days to be on-call for evening and weekend cleanup projects.They have the flexibility of requesting specific days that work best with their schedule.    

What is the pay like?
Part-time technicians make anywhere from $200-$400/month.  An hourly rate of $13.50/hour when dispatched plus call-out bonuses.   The amount of hours varies each month because we have no way of predicting when property losses occur, but on average, on-call technicians are dispatched 50% of the time.  This is anywhere from 10-20 hours per month.   In addition to the hourly rate, a bonus of $20-$50 is added to each on-call occurrence and an additional EMS for call outs lasting more than 4 hours.   

Bonuses:
Monday-Thursday $25/per call
Friday - Sunday (& holidays) $50/per call
 
Requirements:
- Perfect fit for an energetic and active person
- Requires superb customer service skills and compassion for customers undergoing disastrous property losses.
- Responsible for operating a truck mount, extracting water, moving furniture and general labor tasks.
- Must have independent transportation and a clean motor vehicle record.
- This is a dirty job and requires someone that is not be afraid of getting dirty.  
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Responding to on-calls is mandatory and we have a zero tolerance for no-shows.

- Speak English effectively enough to communicate with English speaking customers.
- We are a tobacco free organization.  Use of tobacco products are prohibited on job sites and company property.
