LOGISTICS MANAGER

Disaster Kleenup (DK) is a provider of property restoration and disaster cleanup services.  These services are provided to homeowners and business owners who have experienced a property loss such as fire, flooding, or and environmental issue like mold or asbestos.  We service Treasure Valley area and are located in Nampa, ID.We have been providing these services since 1974 with offices in Draper, Layton, Park City, St George and Nampa, ID. 

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with customers, clients, internal staff such as estimators, project managers, office, etc. to respond to their requests and requirements
  • Plan routes and schedule emergency and non-emergency service calls
  • Allocate and record resources and movements on the service planning system
  • Ensure technicians in the field are working efficiently to meet deadlines and stay on task
  • Manage the fluctuating needs for temporary labor (associates)
  • Direct company fleet activities
  • Develop standard operating procedures for best logistics practices
  • Analyze and organize work in process for technicians and carpenters
  • Oversee all technicians, and carpenters
  • Assist in hiring, terminating, and disciplinary action of technicians and carpenters
  • Assist in training of technicians, and estimating staff
  • Assist in performance reviews of all technicians
  • Attend meetings and trainings
  • Oversee “On Call” schedule
  • Maintain safety logs, OSHA compliance
  • Instill a sense of urgency to the logistics team
  • Lead and motivate technicians and carpenters
  • Assist with managing office/building tasks

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Previous crew or labor managment/oversite experience strongly preferred
  • Detailed knowledge of the Treasure Valley area
  • Professional relationship and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Exceptional task and time management skills
  • Self discipline and self driven mentality
  • Basic skills in Microsoft suite, and ability to easily pick up desktop and web-based programs that the company uses for job/account management
  • Confident and professional Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Willing to work early mornings, occasional on call shifts, and occasional weekends to respond to calls, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with experience.  Base salary plus annual performance bonus.
