IDAHO - RESTORATION/FLOOD TECHNICIANS

When accidents happen and disaster strikes (floods, fires, smoke damage, wind damage, etc.) Disaster Kleenup serving Treasure Valley Idaho is there to rapidly restore our customers lives, homes, and businesses to their original condition.  Disaster Kleenup owns the full-life cycle restoration process from the board-up immediately after a disaster, from site clean-up, re-construction, contents remediation, business process restoration, and hand-off back to the customer.

Disaster Kleenup has positions open for entry-level and intermediate “Restoration FLOOD Technicians” who are “honest”, “hard-working”, “detail oriented”, and who enjoy putting a smile on customer faces with great ‘quality’ and “customer service.’

Our goal is to add to our Disaster Kleenup team, additional quality and customer service oriented team members who will handle our customers crises with care, who are ready to respond with enthusiasm and attention during our ‘customers” crisis, and who treat our customers as though they would their own family members who have just experienced a disaster.

Disaster Kleenup flood technicians are the front line and first responders for the company.   Each technicians is on-call 6-8 days per month and knows the responsibility and obligation that comes with being available to respond to our customer's emergencies 24 hours a day.    They are responsible for making sure our customer's emergency needs are met by mitigating water damaged properties which involves; operating a truck mount, extracting water, moving furniture, conducting demos and occasionally, post construction cleaning.  

Other skills required include basic math, writing, and data entry skills (typing); emotional maturity, attention to detail, and good judgment.  Candidates must also possess good health and physical strength sufficient to lift 50 lbs routinely in this position; a good driving record and valid drivers license.  Candidates must be fluent in the English language, and if candidates also know Spanish language this is a plus. Class-room, computer, and on-the-job training will be provided to successful candidates, and Disaster Kleenup will assign a ‘mentor’ who will help you learn and progress through Levels I and II of this position, and other opportunities within our company.

A new recruit starting wage is $15.00/hour or higher with opportunities for advancement as they prove themselves capable of being Leads.  With overtime and on-call bonuses, the average Disaster Kleenup Technician earns on $40,000 annually.
