Part Time Business Development/Sales Representative for Utah County

Utah Disaster Kleenup (UDK) is a provider of property restoration and disaster cleanup services.  These services are provided to homeowners and business owners who have experienced a property loss such as fire, flooding, or and environmental issue like mold or asbestos.  We have been providing these services since 1974 with offices in Draper, Layton, Park City, St George and Nampa, ID. 

We have an immediate opening for a Part Time Business Development Representative to grow our referral channels in Utah county.  The role of the business development representative is to interact with potential clients to develop relationships, build trust and generate phone calls for property restoration and mitigation services.  The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has experience in sales and marketing and who thrives in social engagement and strategic planning.  This is a part time position (20-24 hours per week) for someone looking for a flexible schedule with great commission potential.  

Responsibilities:

  • Promote the company to new and existing customers through:
    • Cold calls
    • Office visits
    • Lunches
    • Golf tournaments
    • Tradeshows
    • Community events and activities
  • Follow-through with current clients to ensure job satisfaction and repeat business
  • Utilize the company CRM to log customer activity, contact information and ROI
  • Develop new channels of business for the company

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales/marketing experience
  • Strong relationship and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Exceptional task and time management skills
  • Basic skills in Microsoft suite, and ability to easily pick up desktop and web-based programs that the company uses for job/account management
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Professional appearance

Compensation:

  • $15/hour + Commission on referral revenue generated from new accounts
